Let the BJP implement guarantee schemes in all the states of the country if it has the strength
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah challenged the BJP to make a decision to implement five guarantees in all the states of the entire country if they have the strength.
CM Siddaramaiah launched the Congress government's ambitious project Griha Jyoti Yojana in the home constituency of AICC president Mallikarjuna Kharge. After speaking, he said, today is a historic day. We started Kharge in his home constituency by lighting a Jyoti. We have fulfilled our promises in two and a half months of coming to power. In addition to that, we have also announced grants in the budget.
Before the election, we announced 5 guarantees and promised the people of the state. I, DK signed and shared the guarantee card. People have believed in the guarantee and blessed it. He said that after coming to power, he brought five guarantees and did as promised.
As PM Modi has said, we will not go bankrupt by implementing the schemes. In the past, when the BJP was in power, the state went bankrupt and the problem of unemployment increased. He said that he will challenge the Prime Minister to implement the guarantees that we have implemented in the entire country.
The opposition parties are making noise about this. Apart from the opposition, even the Prime Ministers of this country have said that if the guarantees are implemented, the state will go bankrupt. The state is not insolvent from the guarantee schemes. Narendra Modi has bankrupted this country.
Karnataka was financially secure in the past when all promises were fulfilled. He said that the BJP government looted the wealth of the state, increased the prices, increased the problem of unemployment and did injustice to the poor, backward and minorities of the state when it was in power.
He had created an illusion to the people of the country that he was a Gujarati model. But, we will not let our state become Gujarat. We have made our own Karnataka model. He said that the Karnataka model is to do what is said.
When our government was in power, we had built 14.52 lakh houses in the state, including 99,600 in Kalyan Karnataka, but the BJP government has built 19000 houses in Kaka and 7 lakh houses in the state. The CM said that our government has shown its commitment to the development of Kaka Bhaga, and said that the BJP government has only changed the name of this part.
We have gone backwards economically from the Modi government at the Centre, the BS Yeddyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai governments in the state. On the other hand, 50 lakh girls are traveling free in buses every day due to the Shakti Yojana implemented by the Congress. This has upset the BJP. He challenged the central BJP government to implement this scheme in the entire country if the BJP has the strength.
Modi said that the Congress government will implement guarantees but not development. We will implement guarantees as well as development. We will implement guarantee projects as promised to the people by the language we gave to Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
The BJP leaders, including the CM and the Prime Minister, who promised to fulfill the 75 promises announced in the manifesto through the budget, said that besides implementing the five guarantees, the leaders of the BJP are engaged in slander in this regard.
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, Energy Minister KJ George, Kalaburagi District In-charge and Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyanka Kharge, Ministers Ishwara Khandre, Rahim Khan, Sharanprakash Patil Darsanapur, MLAs Allamprabhu, Kaneez Fatima, B .R.Patil, M.Y Patil were present.
